What does this certification include and how will it benefit me?

FAQs

How much does it cost to become a CRWP and how long is the certification process?

Our certification program is three months long and requires full-time effort (40 hours/week). It has six testing components, including grammar and time management courses; resume, LinkedIn, and cover letter writing; and customer service best practices. Each component includes focus questions, practice quizzes and exercises, and scored tests. The certification costs $2000.

How does the certification process work? Does it require any prerequisites? How do I prepare for it?

You will be required to submit a sample writing package (resume and cover letter) to be reviewed by our industry-certified senior resume writers. You will submit your package to contact@careertuners.com where it will be evaluated for American grammar skills, resume speak, and presentation strategy. You will get an evaluation of your submission within three working days. If you pass this stage, you will receive your enrollment details via email. The certification program expires within one year of enrollment. Once you begin the program, our industry-certified senior writers will review your tests and will provide one-on-one feedback on your submissions. Test results and feedback will be available within 24 hours of submission. There are no prerequisites but candidates having prior resume writing experience and strong commitment skills have shown a higher success rate. You can prepare for your submissions by checking out some sample resumes that meet CRWP certification requirements.

What if I fail in the first step?

If you fall short of the certification program criteria, you can reapply within a month after improving your submission based on the initial feedback and resources provided.

I am in a country outside the US. Do I have to complete the program during US business hours?

The program is online to allow you to progress at a time and place convenient for you and at a pace of your own choice.

I live in a country outside the US. Will the certification program be relevant to me?

While our clientele is primarily US-based, we believe in helping career professionals from across the globe. Our certification program covers fundamental writing principles as well as offers customized components to help professional writers develop country-specific writing approaches.
